How we check codes
The five steps every offer goes through before and after it appears on the site.
Every offer on Savoup passes through the same short pipeline. Here it is, step by step.
Step 1 — Source
We work only from retailers’ own affiliate programme feeds. Nothing is scraped from forums, Reddit threads or rival coupon sites, and we never publish a “code” that is really just a link.
Step 2 — Read
A person reads the offer: title, code, terms, end date. Vague titles are rewritten so they say what the saving actually is; anything that is not a genuine discount is dropped.
Step 3 — Date
The retailer’s end date is printed on the card. Where the retailer gave none, the card says so instead of inventing one.
Step 4 — Retire
When the end date passes the offer leaves the live list that same day. It is kept for a short period in a clearly marked “recently expired” section, then deleted for good.
Step 5 — Listen
Retailers can withdraw an offer early. If a code does not work for you, tell us; we re-check it and remove it if it is dead.
What we deliberately do not do: print star ratings, “verified today” badges or counts of how many people used a code. None of those can be checked, so none of them appear.
